Ways around the limit
- Wait for the reset. Keep a list of what's still to enter and add it later.
- Share the entry work. Splitwise itself suggests having a friend add expenses for you. They tap “you” in the “Paid by you and split equally” line to make you the payer. Agree who enters what, so nothing is added twice.
- Combine small purchases. If several items are split the same way, one entry such as “Groceries, day 2” uses one slot instead of five. Keep the receipts in case anyone wants the details.
- Pay for Pro, or use a Trip Pass. Pro removes the limit. Splitwise currently offers a monthly plan and yearly Individual and Duo plans; the yearly plans include one Trip Pass, which grants Pro features to a trip group's members for 30 days. Check the current price in the app, and see whether Pro is worth it for your group.
